1960’s, Wool Skirt Suit, Pink Boucle, by ‘Rensor of London’, size 8-10
Coco Chanel’s iconic, instantly recognizable classical suit is timeless and this similar suit is too!
Dry cleaned, fully lined, however, this lining has been mended in quite a few places both in the skirt and jacket, hence the huge price reduction. The outside of the suit, is in contrast, in excellent condition.
The jacket has a flat lay, the bust is 99cm, the waist is 90cm, the hips are 95cm and the length is 55cm.
The skirt is flat lay, the waist is 66cm, the hips are 49cm and the length is 58cm.
I have shown in the main photo a cute example of how to accessorize the suit for the 1960s vibe.
Barbie was around since the 50s, and Mattel was very keen on ensuring that their dolls reflected the latest fashion designs, so I popped the suit on my mannequin too to mimic something she may have worn! Something to keep in mind if you’re doing a dress-up!
