1940’s Navy sheath dress and shawl, acetate, USA  imported, handmade, size 6-8

I was visiting Portland Oregon, when i stumbled upon the most amazing vintage store and had to bring back some stunning pieces with me and this was one of them.

The dress is bust 84cm, waist 62cm, hips are 84cm and length is 109cm.

The reversible shawl is 50cm x 174cm.

Our gallery shows our model with hat, gloves, pearls and heels which match so perfectly, but they are not included.

The dress has a metal side zip.

We have laundered both and have found that the shoulders have slightly faded and the buckle is fraying a little, so for this reason we have priced the set accordingly.

The rest of the dress and shawl are however in excellent condition, especially for something of this vintage.
