1940’s Gown, with choker & broach, Apricot, Crepe, handmade, size 10
Do you want a romantic Gown for a special occasion?

Or perhaps a character from a Romantic Novel like ‘Little Women’, ‘Jayne Eyre’, ‘Pride and Prejudice’ or a TV show such as ‘Bridgerton’ or Movie from early Australian Colonial times like ‘Picnic at hanging Rock’, ‘Australia’ , ‘Alice’ or ‘Man from Snowy River’. So many ideas come to mind, this particular style can be adapted for many different occasions.
This dress has been freshly laundered, it is in very good condition except for some slight perspiration stains, a tiny hole under the belt line on the waist and one in the belt, for these reasons it has been priced lower than should be for a gown from this era.
Bust is 90cm, waist is 69cm, hips are 96cm. Length at front is 150cm and back is 154cm.
The flower is on a safety pin so can be detached.
The choker is a black satin ribbon with a plastic broach.
